Hip Hip Hurrah! This weekend I purchased a 93 16 ft Scamp! To write that I am happy would be an understatement! Yes . . . she is unquestionably a project and I have OH SO MUCH TO LEARN. However, I feel I am equal to the task of learning/cleaning/repairing. The most difficult challenge I face is the patience I will need to tackle her "transformation" step by little step. I will be taking "before" pics and sharing them and will undoubtedly be asking and asking and asking again for some of your valuable guidance and advice. I assume that everyone here understands how a Scamp can change your perspective about travel and so I end my celebratory post with one word . . . scamploversRus.

Sometimes dreams actually come true!
Great news that you've found ur new to you Scamp. We're here to help you however we can, so you can get Scamping. A rally/gathering would be a good thing to attend where people can see and help you with how to approach mods and maintenance. Also, go through the table of contents at the top of the modifications and maintenance forums.

Welcome aboard to the club house Sara! Our new to us 2008 Scamp had great bones, and most of the options we desired. One fun trip to the factory fixed most of that. You will come to love your Scamp as all of us have, and the future is yours to discover and enjoy! Keep us posted on your work and rebuilding of your Scamp.
