New Model

I have the 13 foot and have over 12,000 miles on in 2 years.  If someone were to come out with a 14 or 14.5 foot in the same price range we would have probably gone that way.  Just think what could be done with an extra inch here or there.  (Door 2 inches wider/ toilet area 2 inches deeper/ queen bed etc)  I  do like the ability to pull into Mcdonalds and turn around or tow with an SUV without extra long side mirrors but could do the same with 14 foot.

Scamp size

That is precisely why we bought a 16. We were poised to buy a brand new 13, but sitting with friends one night we discussed things. Sitting under a persistent low pressure storm we would appreciate the extra room. Even the 16 gets small at times,so we are very glad we purchased a 16 with shower and potty over a 13.

It seems they could have made

It seems they could have made the 19 about a foot longer in the sleeping loft so that you could sleep longways without having to fold the bunk bed up to hold your feet. It is just a few inches shy of being comfortable crossways, but I don't want it to be any wider.

I think Scamp could do well

I think Scamp could do well to look at our Forum and check out all that has been done with the Scamp, some real nice and extremely well done mods! They should take them serious and consider them at production. Its well over due for some real enhancements to the Scamp, cosmetic for the most part. I doubt they would change the molds much, but many things could be done at production as done by owners.

Agreed. I think most educated

Agreed. I think most educated owners are modifying them before they even get them home, why not just make them a touch better at the factory.

It is one of the reasons we bought an older scamp: many of the mods we are doing we would want on a new one anyway.

But, they seem to have all the business they can handle, so what do I know.

New Scamp

They'd sell the daylights out of that, especially if the price point was good.

Unless this is a doctored

Unless this is a doctored photo, I think it would be a real success for Scamp.
