The straps that support the grey water tank on my 2015 Scamp 13 seem like they might not last. (Pipe hanger strapping and sheetrock screws!) Ours are very rusty already. There was a post I saw last year from someone who had their grey water tank fall off! Should I worry? Have others had problems with the grey water tank support straps? What are you folks that are rebuilding older Scamps doing, if anything, about this. Thanks for your thoughts on this issue.

Grey Water Tank Support
I go to my local lumber yard and get metal lumber banding straps. I use the wider bands from landscape timbers the last I got came from RR ties. I use 1"-1.5" banding. The lumber yards just throw these straps away and are glad to get rid of it. I paint the straps before installing them for the last time. Besides checking for frame cracks the straps are a good thing to look at under the trailer every now and then.

Thanks Eddie, That sounds like a good idea. I think I would prefer to use through bolts to attach the strapping to the frame. I don't like the sheetrock screws!!
