Although we don't own a Scamp (yet), we may be at the rally. My wife grew up at Kentucky Lake, so LBL is a homecoming trip for her. By the time of the rally, we may already have a Scamp on order.
In 2 weeks, we are making a 3 hour drive to actually look at a 13 foot Scamp, very similar to what we are shopping for. Also, we are going to Eureka Springs this June, and may be able to see Flyboy Scamp's trailer. We have talked a little about that.
Whether or not we have already ordered one, we likely will be there.

We always highly recommend when in the early stages of deciding, to go to a gathering if there is one nearby. We've had folks come to Scamp Camps in tents, etc or just come up for the day on trailer tour day. You get to see all kinds of molded glass trailers and models in one place and talk with owners. You'll have a great time and get some good information.

So very true. We had 72 Scamps at Lanesboro MN for our gathering up there. Lots of trailer tours, seeing great ideas too. Ours is no exception too! We are anxious to show off our mods! Free Spirit is at Camping World right now for our final big mods, sink in the shower and the electric tongue jack. Next is our digital thermostat and our USB equipped outlets to be replace our regular 110 volt outlets. New PVC tube holder is our next mod to be installed under the Scamp as shown on the Forum. We are so glad we got our reservations for LBL, it is filling fast! Many Scamps in the middle of America that cannot go to gatherings on the extreme corners of our country!

It was fantastic event this year at the LBL Fall Rally. Dennis and Susie Archer did a great job of hosting this fun event. We were given schedules and they were big fun.On our schedules were assigned a number for fun prizes to win. We won what we thought the grand prize, a Mac tool box converted to a BBQ grill! Weather was terrific, from AC at the beginning to heaters at the end. I think now the Scamp may have been equaled or exceeded by Casita trailers! The pot luck meal could have fed twice the folks we had, and we were a huge group. The park was excellent and sold out. This event was attended by folks as far away as Arizona. We are sure to attend this next year and stretch it to one more day at least. Thanks to Dennis and Susie Archer for hosting a great event, the fire pit, the lights, the great fun they helped to create.
