Inspirational rebuild

I think your work looks amazing. I recently purchased/am living in a 13ft Scamp, and plan to outfit it with metal framing inspired by yours. My question is, how did you attach the cupboard and front table to the trailer? Thanks!

Thanks!

Thanks! The front counter and side cabinets are bolted to each other and then to the floor - I wanted to get rid of all the rivets on the body and keep it smooth so nothing is bolted through the walls.

I did get the cushions back from the upholstery shop this weekend! and will be sanding/re-staining the cabinet doors since first attempt looked like crap. Getting somewhat cleaned up for next weekend in Quartzsite! I'll probably do the exterior paint when I get the replacement front/rear windows - eventually haha

It looks awesome

Is there any chance you have pictures of those mounting brackets as well as the cabinets themselves? Thanks!

They're just little tabs like

They're just little tabs like this welded on to each piece and bolted together/to the floor :)

Some updates...

Been a while and a lot done since so may as well update :)

Went through many phases in the last year or two... Had a fridge at one point and a little roll up door in front storage area...

Fridge not really useful for my needs so turned that space into a shower/potty storage/countertop space. It's not the fanciest but it works for me :) Also replaced the countertop with a laminated corrugated aluminum sheet so it's super lightweight and still durable. Edged in brass angle. Painted the cabinet doors a bit. New sink is a salad bowl from target, faucet not shown below. Got rid of roll up door for storage and made a button-on cover with upholstery vinyl.

The countertop is on a hinge that flips up for showering (also blocks the window a bit but new curtains help for that too). Tapped into the pressure sensitive water pump for the shower head. I made the shower pan out of some old foam board, covered in fiberglass mat/chop/cloth, smoothed and covered in marine paint. Cut the hole and routed a little lip for the drainage. Have a ton of pics of that process if anyone is interested.

Sink, storage, lights and electric...

The A/C when I choose to bring it along - it blows through the grate in the door when on. Pretty much all appliances are removable since every trip is different. When the A/C doesn't come with then the potty goes in this closet for storage lol.

Changed the bed arrangement so I can sleep solo and still have the table up or drop the table and extend bed for company :) I made the cushions at home. The table is some scrap ply-wood painted by some pros at my work with hardware from EBay. Made new curtains, caved and did rivets to mount the curtain rods :( the only rivets on this damn thing.

An in-use photo from a bit ago...

Also built a new door since i kind of fucked up the original one with a window that was too big and couldn't fix the curve. Made this out of foam board, routed the edges and some grooves to make the bend then fiberglassed the hell out of it.

New door handle, old hinges, coated in marine paint. Window should arrive today, it's a smaller horizontal porthole style window. We'll see how that goes I guess.
