I converted the mouse hole to a Furion plug. Pretty easy change. I'm going to buy a new 25' cord. The most common twist-on connectors are straight, but some of the cords come with a 90° or 45° connector. The straight connector just looks like it would place strain on the plug from the cord hanging down. The 90 and 45 seem like they would be better. And yet, most cables use the straight connector. All have the screw ring to secure them. Am I missing something? Is there a reason the straight connector is superior?
Thanks in advance for advice and comments.
Less stress on the connection and cord with a 90 degree than a straight.

Thanks. That's what I've been thinking. Do you think most are straight because it is cheaper to make? I can't imagine it would make that much of a difference.
