TV Antenna option $185
I'm trying to find out just what this is?
Is it moveable 360 and does it have a booster.
How well do they work?
Thanks for the Help

Here are some photos of my 2015 13' Deluxe with the antenna. It works well when a signal is present. Several times we have been camping in deep valleys where reception did not work at all. We like it for being able to see what is coming toward us on the weather radar stations or for watching the news. When we are parked at home we get better reception in the trailer than we do in the house. The antenna does rotate in each direction.

Is that the one installed by Scamp?
I think (based on very limited data) that the King Jack Antenna or Wineguard Sensar might work better.
It IS the King antenna.

I got,the exact same antenna when at the factory. Works great! The large knob turns the antenna, and the small knob is for fine tuning of station, shown by more blue lights.

So you are saying that Scamp is installing the King Jack antenna now?
That would be nice, its a good product, but the location they put it is in the way of my planned solar panel.
Well you must decide which is more important. We are getting by nicely without a solar panel. TV is far more important to us for real entertainment.

Or you can have it all.
So with the planned solar panel, here is the mast for my planned TV antenna (and 20 M dipole), which wil be higher than your TV antenna ;)
Is your antenna(s) mounted to the rear trailer hitch?

Well... it will be.. but right now it is a work in progress.
I got the Hitch Mount Flagpole Holder
which works well as a base for an antenna mast except that at 2 inches diameter, it is a little wide for my current set up. In the photo you can see a fiber glass mast. It is actually a two part fiberglass pole that was a tree pruner similar to this one that I picked up at a surplus store. I used a piece of PVC pipe as an insert in the hitch mount to reduce the looseness of the small mast in the large diameter mast holder. With the height of the hitch receiver, it goes up to about 15 feet from the ground. I added a PVC pipe on the top end for another six feet and it seems very stable before adding an antenna. Maybe someday I will invest in a "proper" collapsible fiberglass antenna mast.
This is meant for a ham radio antenna, but I also want to put a HDTV antenna on it at times. I am leaning toward the King Jack which is a directional antenna. I could rotate the antenna by reaching out the back window of the Scamp and tuning the mast by hand but that would be annoying so I am also looking at mono-directional HDTV antenna. So far I have not found the right one. The King Jack is an amplified antenna and runs off 12 volts which is nice, and it has a pole mount. The Winegard Metrostar is a omni-directional antenna but apparently is requires 120 volts AC (i.e. shore power). Heck, I might just build a non-amplified HDTV antenna and see how that works.
One of the mainstream RV antennas mounted on the roof would certainly be more convenient, but the hitch mount mast gets my antenna higher and can also mean no holes in the fiberglass shell.
All of this is intended to be used only while stationary.
Work continues....
Wow, very nice! I have a portable multi band ham antenna and tripod for portable use when traveling. My call is K0DRA. I am a very avid ham radio operator.
