We did make it to Rice last week and picked up the new 16ft Casita.plans had to change about camping down there a couple of days as we were right ahead of a storm heading towward there.So we just headed north in rain for two days and got to Ks fine......everything seems to be working well as far as we can see. We are in a campground in Hutchinson KS for a cpoule of days till tomorrow morning then heading west to Garden City Ks for a few days then finally head to home...havent had no time to figure out pictures yet,maybe when I get on my other computer tomorrow or day after...just wanted to let those of you that were interested we are still alive and kicking

yes right after we left the factory it started raining withiin hour,but we had checked the weather at the hotel the night before and knew it was coming so all we wanted to do was head on out of Tx right away.Rained one day we were in Wichita but then cleared up...so far no leaks no where which is a nice thing to report.Nothing has happened so far this trip like it did on the trip home last year with the new Scamp:-) We have our oldest son with us since we went to Tx so have been camping with 3 people in here and we have been dioing good,he's 54 and 6ft 2in and he has been comfortable sleeping on the side dinetter.Getting ready to break camp here and drop him off at home and head west to Garden City to see more family....then heading west to do the real camping ha
