If That Motorhome Was A Toy Hauler.......

If that motorhome was a toy hauler, you could just load the Scamp in the back and get a free ride.  Once at Disney World, we decided to go for the "premium sites" and we had our tent among big units like that.  Every time someone was backing up at a site near us, we left the tent and got away from our site.  It was an older part of the campground (Fort Wilderness) and some had a very hard time hitting the "mark" with their monster RVs and truly, I thought they would run over us.

Tongue Weight

Dean,

If you have a hitch receiver on the rear bumper of the 13  and use it to mount something on, you will counterbalance some of the tongue weight.

The big bed that is available sure is nice.  Wish I had one in either of our Scamps.

Hi Bob,

Hi Bob,

That is nice to know and makes sense. So, as long as I keep in mind the overall weight of the camper and don't exceed the total rated weight, I can "ligthen" my tongue weight by taking using my receiver on the rear by taking our bikes with us. Sweet!!!

Thanks,

Dean
