we will be having our 5th event at Eagle Cliff campground, Lanesborro Mn ( south of I90 and Mn Hwy 52.
The dates are May 27th thru May 31st 2015. they are holding Loops A,B, and C for us
We will have a web page https://sites.google...stateaglecliff/ for more information which will be updated as area events are made available. Lanesboro in in Minnesota Bluff country with Biking trails, River tubing, kayaking, and canoeing available from the camping grounds. There are winery's, shops, and live theater in Lanesboro along with Amish market and tours. The camp ground is under new ownership and they want this event to be great. They are building an large 150 person indoor area with kitchen for our potluck. They are also offering to use their shuttle bus to bring us into Lanesborro for events there. Fees for these will be worked out as we go. We will have our Saturday Pot Luck, that alone is worth the trip.

Someone put a reminder in another thread about bringing music instruments to the Lanesboro gathering and, of course, I can't find it. But I do second that motion. Pete and Jackie coordinate musical entertainment every evening but I'd also like to see us do some informal jamming, too. So my guitar is sitting here ready to be packed!

That's why you want to sit around with a couple of folks and just have fun. I'm a senior citizen beginner and have decided that, at my age, I can run naked with my hair in flames so playing guitar and singing is much safer (except to the listeners). My favorite activity is sitting with friends and aquaintances and jamming. So bring the guitar and leave the anxieties at home.

Now I'm not one that will try and dictate adult decisions, but if there is any running naked with hair on fire at the event, I do ask that those particular photo's and videos not be posted on SOI.

Well, I guess I will tune it up and bring it along. I used to play blue grass but that over 20 years ago. My fingers are tender now so I may not be able to play long. And I promise to stay clothed and if my hair does catch fire, well, please bring lots of water!

Yes folks we are planning a fun time . We will have "COWBOY COFFEY" every morning sometime around 5:30 And homegrown popcorn most evenings with camfirs singalongs, we may discover why D&D-2's kids are so ugly can't say on the streaking but each morning at 7 someone will remind Jacki not to fry her bacon in the nude! WE WILL HAVE A FUN TIME!!!.
