Use a portable waste water tank with an on-board tank?

Hello scampers... New guy here tired of his pop-up (sound familiar?) I’m in the process of reading maybe thousands of posts in threads going back to 2013 and first off I want to thank everyone who ever wrote two words or more. I have learned so much already and most questions I had have been resolved.  I want to pose one question immediately however since it will influence how I market the pop-up.

I am looking to buy a Scamp 13 or 16  as soon as I can sell my pop-up (maybe sooner). I am currently using a portable gray water tank and was going to give it away with the sale of the pop-up, but then I began to wonder if it is possible to use it with the Scamp’s built in gray water tank so that I could dump the gray water without towing the rig to the dump station (and thereby also avoid the line at check out time). In other words, piping the waste pipe from the Scamp’s tank to the portable tank. Or as an alternative,  bypass the Scamp’s tank altogether at times and pipe the gray water straight to the portable tank.  I would want the option to use either the Scamp's tank or the portable (or the Scamp's tank in conjection with the portable). Maybe some sort of diverter valve?  The tank I have now has a male garden hose inlet and standard RV sewer hose connection for dumping (although I don’t see why the big hose could not be an input)  My portable tank can be seen at these links:

tote tank

Keep your tote tank for long term stays. If you go to your Amazon link you will see they recommend a short 3" tote hose. I use a 12 Gal. thetford tote and dump every other day when taking showers in the trailer. You can make a mount to mount it under your trailer behind your existing grey water tank.

 still not sure exactly how

still not sure exactly how it will hook up but there is plenty of time to figure it out since Scamp says I can't get my rig until late September!

I'll take it off the list of stuff going with the pop up then.. Thanks Eddie!

under-trailer tank mount

There are 10+ detailed pictures of an under-trailer tank mount here, but you'll have to join the Yahoo Scamper modifications group to see them (worth doing).

@ Rhalford   Well.. no

Rhalford   Well.. no showering will be done in my Scamp (when I get it).. Sponge baths maybe but full showers will be at campgrounds or truck stops.

(edit 4 June 2015:   Changed my mind and ordered the shower)

jrpalm  Thanks.. Looking at the pics now.

Showers

Love our shower in our Scamp, no need to trudge out in rain or the cold of night to shower before bed time. Would never trade our Scamp for another without a potty/shower
