Toilet and Shower

I am currently looking for a used scamp. My wife has concerns about taking a shower and privacy exiting the shower to dry off and dress. I told her space is very limited. But she has a problem with being butt naked in the kitchen. It's funny I know. So how do people handle the situation....? I know buy a big trailer, which I do not want.

It's Got Me Stumped!

I have thought about this and googled and I am still stumped on what people do.  I wonder if there is enough room in the front bath versus the side bath to get mostly covered before going into the main part of the trailer.  I know we had a wet bath in a mini-motor home and it was big enough to creatively get on the essentials after wiping down the walls and floor so you didn't get your clothing wet while trying to put it on.  Since people go out with their children, they must have some system for not just jumping out into the middle of the room without any clothing on.  I'd want to make sure the door was locked before showering for sure so it didn't pop open or, like we had happen once, someone was traveling with their elderly mother who got confused about which trailer she was in and opened out door to be surprised and even more confused when she seen us inside.

My only thought was a very light weight fabric but dark in color maybe velcroed from the ceiling, a veil of sorts that could easily be taken down and stored.

I thought this was a very good question.

Don't know about you but we

Don't know about you but we have a nice well fit shower curtain on our 16. A PVC pipe holds it up. I don't believe it is from the factory but from a previous owner. For that, I am grateful !

Another Thought

When Doug mentioned the PVC, I got thinking that you might be able to fashion a dressing area out of it but then, living in an old house (one of many), we always have to make allowances since modern doesn't fit so I thought about those curtains to cover the door that are on a long spring that stretches across the window.  In my head, this morphs into small nylon rope, the kind that is soft and flexible combined with the dark colored lightweight fabric as that could cinch up by the bath and be stretched out across to the opposite side from the bath/shower and hooked to something attached to the wall or cupboard/cabinet and then easily put back to the bath area when finished.

Showering

What we do in the shower situation because of the small space , the person that is taking the shower has the scamp to themselves and the other person or persons that maybe camping with us at the time go outside and either enjoy the campfire or perhaps go for a walk or relax in a lawn chair under the awning .... This seems to be the best solution that works good for us  .....

We do the same! I am outside

We do the same! I am outside under the awning while my bride has the shower and trailer to herself. Then my turn as she takes my spot outside. We truly like our onboard shower, and use it. Now that saying, we too have used the facilities at campgrounds all over.

We do that, one goes out and one stays in

Its the smartest thing to do,what we do is close all the curtains and which ever one isn't taking the shower, goes out and walk the schnauzer we travel with…she thinks its a win win situation and never turns down a walk
