Say I have some special SOI prizes. I've had them for many years and just remembered they were out in the garage.
A friend had them made and sent to me. Interesting that the return address on the box is an Artist in Quartzsite or I should say, was there at the time. I'll show them to you when I get there. We'll decide which gathering to use them at since you may not need them for this one.

Like a cat (Sorry Lily
) you have me very curious. I still have 3 original SOI cookbooks left from Scamp Camp SW that I'll be bringing. The cookbooks were from way back and also had been sitting in Alice's garage. Can't wait to see your SOI find.

What a gathering this year at the 8th annual Quarzsite Gathering put on by the Casita Travel Trailer Forum and hosted as always by George and Betty now hailing from Tucson, AZ! We set the 8th consecutive record for attendance with 104 trailers that setup for the gathering, WOW.
SOI had a record of 17 teams sign up for the SOI Ladderball tournament after the soup on Saturday. That is the biggest ladderball event so far in all the gatherings in which Earl has run this event.
SOI Clubhouse arrives at Quartzsite early on Wed as the group was just beginning to assemble out in the Desert.
SOI Clubhouse and Store opens early
How about some of Betty's Sopapillas to start the day right!!
Yummm
Earl and the SOI Crew setup the Ladderball practice fields so the teams can prepare
Saturday let the Soup event begin!
The Ladderball tournament assembles and Master of Ceremonies Earl calls the first teams
The Quartzsite Kids are always tough to beat
Catherine shows off her winning form
This is a new style this year called the "Alley Oop!"
One of the new SOI members Cathy goes for it
And the winners are:
3rd Place: Philip and Catherine 21 Bigfoot!

That is the second straight year the SOI Ladderball Quartzsite tournament was won by Scamp Owners. This year we really got challenged by the Casitas and Bigfoots with the final round going to overtime. Congrats to our 2015 Winners!
So as the sun sets in the Desert on another successful Quartzsite gathering, we hope to see all of you soon at another event. Next up for SOI is Scamp Camp Far West in May. Thanks, Gene, George & Betty and all the folks that chip in to make this one great continuing event.

I think Cathy wins for best form! She must have had some dance or ballerina training in her life. (see 2nd picture in Earl's post.)
