I just purchased new 16' Scamp Deluxe Layout A. There is a draft of outside air coming in above the fridge between the top of the fridge and the wood above it. I had to lay a towel on it to keep the cold air out. And now prob will have hot air coming in this summer. Has anyone had this issue? I'm thinking of putting some kind of weather stripping along the top edge of the fridge. Has anyone done this?

What does Scamp say about the problem?
IMHO it would be better to keep the air out by finding the place it enters the camper, rather than trapping it inside under the counter.

The space behind the fridge needs to be vented to the outside in order to remove the heat. The best would be to place some kind of weather strip to keep the gap closed at the front of the fridge. Yes, I have done something like that. Since it is a new one, I would also ask Scamp about what they would suggest, and they might send you some weather strip.
