One of the brackets on the dinette table ripped out on our 13 foot 2017 Scamp. The table is too torn up to return the bracket to it's original position.
- Can I move the bracket and corresponding catch?
- Is it better to move it towards the inside or outside of the table?
- Do I need to move both brackets for symmetry?
I bought the Scamp today and drove it home. My 9 year old granddaughter broke the bracket within three minutes. I held my tongue. It's only a thing.
When my table brackets broke loose I repaired the area somewhat with epoxy and then used round head bolts instead of screws. The bolt heads protrude a little but that hasn't been a problem. The Scamp Parts Dept. will sell you a new table if yours is really wrecked.
