The fabric cover for our dual propane tanks on a 16-ft Scamp has disintegrated. We are thinking about replacing the fabric cover with a polymer (plastic, polypropylene) dual tank cover. Have any of you installed a Camco, Flame King, ICON, or other dual plastic tank cover? Are you satisfied with it? Did the cover fit over the tanks without moving the tanks or battery box? Is there sufficient room to use the factory trailer jack handle without bumping the cover or changing the crank handle? We would appreciate input. Thanks.

Covers for propane tanks
I have the FlameKing, dual hard cover. I love it... I preferred their opening cover doors which allow easy valve access to each tank and easy switching access. Goes on and off easily and allows securing from below in case winds could lift it... I don't know how possible that is but I put wire ties on the slots since they are there... it did not interfere with anything on the trailer but I have the electric tongue lift. I wouldn't think it would interfere with the crank just due to my past trailer experiences...

But I have made so many mods that I now use the soft cover only. They are listed "for storage only" and I need a new one every two to three years.
+1 for the Flame King

I've been using these individual soft covers. Like the carry handle.
