Hi...I'm back for some more advice. Attached is a picture of the water heater in our Scamp 16. Currently, it's just sitting there....electric and water lines have all been disconnected. It's a Speed-O-Matic, made by Philips Industry in Crossville Tennessee. I have no manual on the unit, nor does a search on the unit and the company produce anything useful. I'm guessing it's at least 12 years old, and hasn't been in use for 6 or more years. I could hook up the electric and water lines, but I'm wondering if it's worth the effort, or if I should go with a replacement. Do any of you have recommendations for water heaters? Looks like I would need to go with a compact 6 gallon model to fit into the the existing space.

Water Heater Advice
Our Sacmp came with a tank less water heater, and we really like it. I don't know if it's standard, but it is small and easier to set up for winter.
Thanks for the reply. I've been looking into tankless (on demand) mini water heaters. Looks like we'll be spending about $150 to get a unit that discharges about 3 gpm. Is this similar to what you have?
Yes, that sounds close. Like I said, we really enjoy it.
