Stained Glass Window

The entry window on the door has always been a tough one to put blinds, curtain, etc. on for privacy.

Found this stained glass window film and thought I'd give it a try:

Click the stain glass pic to see the cost and other choices.

The assistant went to work cutting a stencil:

And for under $20 we have a stained glass privacy window. You use a spray bottle of soapy water and the provided squeegee's to apply the film.

Window Cover

Great Idea Greg, wish I did something like this for our trip to AK.  We covered big windows using car window folding screen to prevent sun from coming it when you have 21 hrs. of daylight and sleep is important.  We will copy your idea for our entrance door as it looks real professional and attractive. I used one of my tee shirts to block window when we wanted complete darkness.

Thanks

Appreciate the comments Gary and Joy! The Quartzsite Kid stencil cutter did a pretty good job on her trailer project last weekend. yes

Wait till you see this weekends project. We're painting on liquid granite countertops right over the formica. Stay tuned....

Thanks PiperJim

Click on the stain glass pic and it will take you to where I bought it. I can't wait to see how the "paint on granite" does as well. It has great reviews and if it works there is going to be a lot of egg trailer formica redone. It's not that expensive either, mostly labor.

Who's that knocking?

How can you look out and see who's knocking at your door?  I camp alone and like to know who's rapping on my door.  It does look really nice!

Never Realized The Window Was Clear

Gosh, I never realized the window was clear until I just checked the brochure.  In the 8 RVs we have had, the door window was always that clouded, bumpy glass that we couldn't see out of and we just looked out a window.  I think I would want the window covered and probably just shout to the person outside the door as to who was there.  You can get "cling-ons" in stain glass also and I think I saw those on Amazon as I was thinking of getting some for my house door.  You could make a small peek hole in the window film.  I have put window film on and I would have to say, I'm not very good at it and never enjoyed doing it.  Found "Wall Pops" and they actually peel off and on without "sticky" on the web, saw a video on their website and the possibilities looked good!
