I have a 1996 16' Scamp, floor plan #4 with the closet in place of a bathroom. I don't care about or want a shower, but I'd like to add a toilet and blackwater tank. Does anyone have any experience doing this? I'd sure like to be able to learn from your experiences, and would love any pointers you have.

Anyone ever added a toilet?
It should not be difficult since the toilet and black water tank sit on the top of the floor. The drain goes through a hole in the center of the black water bottom. An elbow to the outside with a slidegate and coupling and you are done.
You might want to put an impervious floor in at this time as well.
I think you could be happy with a cassette type toilet and cutting an access door through the side.
The cassette is available with side and rear removable tanks.
My trailer has the side bath with almost useless shower. The toilet would be OK, but I am modifying my trailer to a front bath with a different pan and black tank. The shower drain will have to have a pump to get the water to the gray water tank.
