I've never stayed more than a day at any campground, I mostly have boondocked at my gun club and have never filled the fresh water tank with anything other than my garden hose at home before leaving. How do any of you fill yours when at a campground that has fresh water located a diistance away from your set-up? That little funnel on the Scamp seams small for filling from a bucket.

Filling Fresh Water Tank
I use a collapsible 5 gal water tote. You can find these on the camping aisle at Wally.
You'll need a funnel with a long filler tube too which is useful to add chlorox as well when disinfecting your water tank.

Thanks Greg, looks like too much work for me, I'll have to get my wife to do it. She weights about as much as the 5 gallons.
If you serch on youtube for filling, the only thing I find is how to hook up the water hose.
We have done this while boondocking several times. It really isn't that big of a problem. Just carefully back the truck tailgate up to the Scamp, set the water tote on it, and fill the tank up!

I use a small 12v water pump with a hose into any water container I choose to have with me and them the other output hose goes to the Scamp fill. I just set the water container on the ground and the water pump on a table plug it in and turn it on.
Here's a picture of my water fill. I never liked that little cup and wanted a locking door so no one could tamper with my water.

We hose fill our tank, but do not drink it! We carry cases of bottled water. The water tank is fine for hand washing, and showers.
