i had them on my old scamp 13’ and am thinking about putting them on my 13’ Burro.
im hoping they will extend the time I need to repack the bearings.
any advice?

They are for boat trailers and do no good on an RV trailer.
Boat usage, Yet our 2019 13 came with them . I am not happy with the operation of the brakes so I will still take the wheels off this spring to examine the brakes and bearings and seals. are ready for the season. . The brakes always stop Ok but one side is not consistent and sometimes it is aggressive enough to skid. . It is slightly better with a adjustment of both the control and wheel wear adjuster.

Bearing buddy is a cap over the hub to allow grease to be pumped in to the hub keep water out when backing a trailer into the lake.
No your 2019 didn't come with them, they came with the easy lube axle

The Scamp have easy lube hubs. They have zerk fittings like the Bearing Buddy's but are designed not to maintain pressure in the hub. The grease is directed through the spindle between the inner bearing and seal and when grease is pumped in it flushes new grease into the bearings. The old grease from the front bearing comes out by the spindle opening in the bearing cap. When applying grease pressure the wheel must be jacked and the tire rotated or you could blow out your back seal. Also when replacing seals you must use double lip seals not usually found in auto parts stores.

Since double lip seals are not found in auto parts stores, where is a good place to buy bearings and seals for EZ lube hubs?

They are not hard to find if you have the number. Note however that I have gotten the wrong parts WITH the part number. I purchased a spare set of bearings and seals from Scamp when I picked up the RV. Here is a picture of the seal. (E-trailer will have them)
Thanks for the updated info on the easy lube hubs. It is not so well explained in my info with delivery Or I missed that detail ( Possible ) I am looking forward to better understand it this spring. Thanks again

Its all too easy to misuse the easy lube and get grease past the inner seal, which then gets on the brakes and causes problems. Be sure to follow the directions.. generally, add a little grease when the temperature is warm. Raise the tire off the ground and spin the wheel while pumping in the grease. Slow and steady.
Because of the potential of a failed inner seal I have decided to forgo using the Easy Lube option and instead do a regular bearing cleaning, inspection and repack.
