Level is Good

We tow our 16', ~ 2400 lbs. loaded, with our Highlander Hybrid. My self installed ordinary hitch with a 3" lift to make everything level works just fine.

Scamp 16 weight

You made me look, Mine was 2360 as built and 3060 ready for the road. I travel with three hobbies and have two fresh water tanks, as well as twin batteries and LP tanks. With the solar panels, it's ready for boondockng, or this weekend dry camping.

Nice TT!

Love the look. Are the decals from the factory? I'm curious about the twin batteries and LP tanks. Where did you get the brackets for that setup?

Nice TT mods

The LP tanks are factory but moved ahead, jack is now electric to get rid of the handle, and the battery frame was welded up in my shop, box was purchased on line. The added graphics are from a local truck lettering company.

New Setup

OK...with your help, I've decided to lose the WDS and went with a simple hitch and ball from the local U-Haul store. We leveled the TT then determined the needed drop. 5 3/4 drop with a 2" ball. Now it looks very level and rides smoother. Though that may be power of suggestion...

Thanks for all the input!

Yay!

That looks perfect--ready to rock n roll!  You are probably now tempted to go on a camping trip prior to your planned Labor Day excursion.  Glad the U-Haul peeps were so helpful--our local store is awesome too.
