Where is home for you now?

Where is home for you now? Yes, a rare find indeed for us and we feel God blessed us in such a find. We purchased from a good Christian man, and felt he was nothing short of truly honest. He has followed up on our purchase with caring phone calls.

And yes, we have a cover

And yes, we have a cover lined up from the RV shop, and it shall be covered all winter. We have a last trip planned for October 25 at Hillman Ferry campground near Kentucky Lake. My bride went there as a child, so it is something special for us. Complete hook ups too. Yes, we found a gem of a trailer and it shall stay that way. Winter storage will have the trailer on jacks with the tires off the ground, to eeze the stress on the trailing link suspension. I was a aircraft mechanic prior to flying professionally. This trailer shall be kept like new as long as we own it!

Home for us is New River AZ..

Home for us is New River AZ.... about 25 miles north of Phoenix on I-17 heading up towards Sedona which is about 90 minutes north of us. Tons of good camping up here too.

With airplane mechanic in your blood that trailer is in good hands.

Hi Joe

Wow! You live in a great area of the country for year around camping opportunities in AZ, CA, Nevada, New Mexico. I was born and raised in San Diego CA, but family demands and bad opportunities left me here in the middle of America. Last winter was really bad, very long and very cold. I am a ham radio operator and that takes care of me now in my retirement years. As long as the fridge has cold drinks, and the pantry has goodies, I am set! Yes, we have a 3 season camping opportunity, as our winters here are dreadful.

Pilot Friend

Don't want to put my pilot friends full name here but it is Bob C. Maybe you know him. If so don't put his last name here. He is about 67  now.

Really nice camping here but need to get out of the Valley in the summer

By your picture you don't look old enough to be retired

Hi Joe

God has blessed me with my appearance, I am 63! Yes, hard to believe! The years are flying by way too fast so that is yet another reason for the scamp. We boated for 14 years, and now this is yet another toy on the rear bumper, another source of fun. Dawn retires in about 5 years, and until then its weeks at a time and weekend trips. Tons of fun await us. No, I likely do not know the other pilot. Even flying for Fed Ex as I did years ago, I knew few pilots there. I washed our trailer with the Maguiers car wash suds and it did a fantastic job pal. Looks new outside. The RV center put screens over our vents to keep critters out. Mud dobbers can really do a number on vent holes. The screens went on easy. I had to replace a fuse, a 20 amp main 12 V fuse and all lights now work from the battery.

Retired Too

I'm one year older than you and also retired from Semi's, sure is nice not to have my Donuts taste like diesel fuel LOL..... We've lived on or near the Atlantic Ocean with many boats most of my life and about the last 10 years with these egg trailers..... I'm a land lubber now....aka: Desert Rat :)

If i can help you in the future with your trailer let me know

Hi Joe

Now that was funny about the doughnuts!  Yeah, I enjoy retirement, but my wife has about 5 years to work. We may have just 2 opportunities to weekend camp the trailer before it get pickled away for the winter. Must do it in November and that will be here just after our weekend in Kentucky October 25. Just got back from Auto Zone for 15 and 20 amp fuses. Now have them on board when needed. Had to replace the 20 amp 12 V Main fuse when we started working in it. Now all systems working just great!
