Hi, the tire on my scamp trailer is bent inward, the tread on the inside of the tire is worn. Would it be a bent axle or something else? I had hit a bad pothole and think this is what caused the problem. Appreciate any input.
Thank you,
Connie

Looks like you have a 2017 Scamp. You could have an axle or tire issue. I would contact Scamp first and they can get you in touch with the axle mfg. for your trailer. Then the axle mfg should suggest where to get the axle evaluated. Lippert torsion axles have a 11 yr warranty and Dexter I think has a five year warranty. No matter what the issue is it will have to be evaluated by a shop and it is best to follow the mfg. recommendation since a warranty action may be involved.

Thanks Eddie for the helpful info.

From your description I suspect the axle is damaged and bent upward causing the tipped in wheel. I do not believe this is repairable. many have replaced the axle assembly and even upgraded to electric brakes if not already equipped. Disassembling the wheel and hub may allow you to determine where the bend is. The Scamp factory may be able to identify your axle and suggest replacements. Must have been a real nasty Hole.

I will call Scamp on Monday and take it from there. Thanks for the input,
