Scamp 16 A/C Question

Scamp 16 A/C Question

Greetings!

Does anyone know what the first model year for "Roof Mount" A/C was, for the 16 foot Scamp?  Or the last year for "Under Cabinet" (As I understand, it is basically a window style) A/C unit?

As I look through listings for used Scamp 16s, I have noticed a few that list A/C, with no mention as to where it is located.  While not a deal breaker, I would prefer a roof unit.  Of course, if anyone has advice to the contrary, I would love to hear it!

97 Scamp Side A/C

Most 97 S-16's I've seen have side A/C. I saw one 97 with a Roof A/C. After that most trailers seem to have the Roof A/C. I guess for a while you could order the side A/C.
