While welding my new axle on the trailer place had a little mishap. They didn't know that there were weep holes down there and the heat went up melted the rat fur where the tale step up is, scorched both sides a little (lower cabinets and closet) and melted a bit of the linoleum. Good news is they consulted with a restoration company cleaned it all up properly and agreed to install the allure flooring I already planned on putting in! Little Scamp is really looking good and rides much higher.

We had a similar situation about 9 years back that didn't turn out so well. The Scamp 13 caught fire when they were welding the axle and burned to toast. You were fortunate that they caught it and seem to be a very reputable place that wants to make it right and the customer happy.
You'll love the Allure flooring......

Wow! I had extensive welding done at the factory last week. They soaked the under side of the floor prior to welding the bike recover hitch and under door step.

The axle really lifted the trailer as you can see from the previous picture. Now if I can just stop the squeaking and clunking while towing.
At least with the squeaking and clunking you don't have to worry that it's still there.

While having my welding done at the factory, they soaked the under floor heavily prior to any welding. Sure glad they did! No problems at all.
