zep wet look floor finish

New member but owned our 1990 13foot Scamp Deluxe since 1998.  Have moved to a 55 & older community and store the Scamp in our outside storage area.   We've noticed our finish is chalking some and have researched Zep wet look floor finish.   Does anyone have any experience with using it? And, I assume that I would have to compound first to remove the chalky residue.   Please advise.  Thanking everyone in advance.

Floor Polish

Best advice I can give you is don’t do it. They do ok until they yellow and then it becomes a nightmare. Did it once, yellowed after 3 years, will never do it again.

If you follow the waxing steps outlined in the maintenance table of contents using 3m restorer wax w orbital polisher followed by Meguiars Premium Marine by hand you will be able to bring back the finish pretty well. Then you just have to do the Meguiars twice a year in sunny climes or once a in overcast areas.
