Work done

Greetings!

We got a 2010 5er, the people we got it from had a Ford Ranger it was older about a 1998. The trailer came with the hitch it was from Samp (old style) all looked good.  When we went to get the hitch put on our truck, it was low and would not work. My truck was newer and was very high. Long story short... Went up to Scamp factory and bought a new axle 3" lift and got a new 5 er hitch.  Got back home and friends helped to change out the axle and took about 3 hrs. Then took off the old 13" wheels and tires and got new 15" wheels and tires....It's a perfect fit !!!!!!

Can't wait to get some miles on!!

Sorry.. Forgot to put this in.

I put GoodYear Endurance tires on,  225x15  at 80psi   WOW!  If I blow a tire I think the trailer will go Airborne  !!  :))

Good Job

Yes, the new truck bed rails have been raised significantly in recent years. You followed the right path in getting everything ironed out and will enjoy the trailer for years.
