Just curious, what do you all use for generator to power your Scamp ?
Im looking at something like a dual fuel 2000 watt generator to power my Scamp 13 furnace when boondocking. Is this a big enough to run the furnace and keep my Group 27 charged ?

What size Generator ?
I use a Honda 2200 on my 2017 Scamp. I think older A/C units need more on Start up.
I have added a soft start but I was test running it with the Honda before I added the soft start and have never used it long term in hot weather..
Your furnace is LP fueled and only requires 3-5 amps of battery power while running/heating. . and should run for a couple days on the battery alone unless way too cold.to be camping. We have camped two days in 30-50 deg weather with no issue as long as the battery is good and well charged. A electric heater is totally different animal. and uses a lot of power.
