What are folks doing for cookware?

Our new Scamp is home after 5 nights of camping on the way home.

Whoopeee what a trip.

Had to winterize it 3 nights ago due to hard freeze.  I assume flushing RV antifreeze out to the system will not be an issue.

Anyway we are trying to figure out storage containers and more importantly cooking and eating supplies.  Weight is an issue no doubt with all 13' & 16' Scamps.

What have folks found that really works?

Scamp use

We have a side dinette and shall keep the bed set up permanently. Underneath the bed rests a plastic container where we neatly stack our clothes inside. Works great and does not move during transit. There is a clothes rod in the closet at entry on the right, but we do not use it. Much of what we need rests in the tow vehicle. One thing for sure about Scamp living, when you take something out, it must go back where it came ! No room for lots of lying around. A nice and big dirty clothes bag is also essential. We also made great use of plastic hooks that have the 3 M adhesive on the back. We now have about 10 of them in various places. Dollar store has been great for Scamp stuff!

We still use a pop-up and

We still use a pop-up and space is limited.  We use the plastic totes in our van, see through are nice but don't seem to last as long for us but we are rather hard on things.  If you get the solid totes, get different colors.  I also really like soft-sided bags and I have bought an assortment as I saw them on sale in different sizes since you can put things in them and cram this into nooks and crannies, keep them on bed if you have to and just move them back and forth if space is tight and that is usually how we store our clothing.  I just bought a couple of smaller zip bags to keep odds and ends since there is a constant problem with them slipping away and us playing hide-and-seek with them.   I have bought backpacking kitchenware, some sporks and multi-use tools.  We also bought special camp towels since towels take up a lot of room and can be a hassle when wet.  I buy from a couple of online sites since we live in the sticks in KS.

We like the clear plastic

We like the clear plastic containers for clear view of the contents. And yes, cloth zippered bags are great! Hold lots of stuff and more. As we keep our bed made up all the time with the side dinette, the area under the bed holds one container very well. We love containers for lots of stuff and much of it rests in the tow vehicle.
