Water pump runs from car battery but not shore or trailer battery HELP?

Hello,

I just recently got a used 2008 13 foot scamp with a front bathroom.  When I first got it the water pump worked fine both on shore 120V power and the trailer battery, but I have used the pump just a few times and now it will not work off the trailer's battery or shore power.  It will, however, work when I have it plugged into my car's battery.  Does anybody have any suggestions about what I should try to do to diagnose this problem and possibly fix it?

Thank you!

A

Not much help but:

All other DC things are working? I've never heard of this problem but the scamp crimps pull apart a lot, something to look for. .

Blown Fuse

Sounds to me like you have a blown fuse at the Scamp's positive battery terminal (the fuse inside the battery box) or just a bad connection at that point. Good luck!

Thank you so much for your

Thank you so much for your suggestions.  I did take a look at the crimping-looked fine and connected there.  Aso checked the battery terminals, which looked clean and had a sound reading on the voltage meter.  The problem turned out to be that the fuse was slightly bent so when it was seated in the brackets, only one end was in.  Replaced the fuse and now everything is working as it shoul.

Thank you for you advice!
