I was told there was a rally at Sampson State Park, NY this year in September, but cannot find further info on it. I've booked a site for my first rally and was quite excited. But, wha????? Anyone know anything about it? Or any other rally scheduled in NYS?

The NY rally is not a SOI Scamp Camp and we do not know anything about it other than the dates.
Sorry we can't help. We would love to have info so we could inform our SOI members. We always welcome hosts of all molded fiberglass trailer events/ rallies/ and gatherings to post the info here on the forum and we are happy to promote their events.

We will be getting together at Sampson State Park, September 6 - 11, 2016 in loop 1 with the overflow in loop 3. When you register with the park, please email us at hopkinsc@geneseo. edu with your site number and the dates you are attending.
Our group likes most days free but we get together for most evening meals and, of course the nightly campfire. I will send an update about a month before we meet. Hope you are able to join us.

Great rally location. Lots of Winery's, Watkins Glenn, White deer heard, Weigman's grocery store hometown, lots of nearby state parks and waterfalls, Amish stores and the Windmill craft stores and lots more. Quite a ways from the stores. There is a golf course near by. Located between the two big finger lakes.

We have our spot (site 9) reserved for the Sampson state park rally. Hope to head over to the Niagara rally too, we only got to visit that one for 1 night a couple years ago in our Scamp.

We are are Jim and Judy of Delaware. We are new to Scamp Rallies. We have a site this weekend at Sampson. We are looking forward to meeting other Scampers. Ours is a 13' being pulled by a Subaru Outback. Hope to meet some nice folks.

See ya soon Jim and Judy. We almost used our Outback this trip but still have our 16' Scamp in the heavy touring mode so we're using our truck. We will actually be visiting DE about a week or two after the rally since I have 2 Sisters in Dover and Magnolia. We are heading to the Niagara Falls rally and then VA for a couple days in between. :-)
