( June flooding in Houghton in Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula, 140 miles from Munising )
Lucky us on post-storm high ground on the shore of Munising Bay:
We camped in Rhinelander WI a couple days after the Keewanaw flooding. 7 inches of rain the night before at the campground again, and it poured all night as soon as soon as we got set up. 3 inches of water at our site! It must have been a rock base with just enough sand to grow grass as there was curiously no mud anywhere.
