Antenna

One that gets some of the best feedback is the King Jack

You don't mention if you want a permanent mount or what "cheap" range is or where you will predominantly use it, but if you want a permanent one that works well the King Jack is such. We've found the directional tends to work better in the boonies than Omni directional. You could try some of the portable ones that you move around and point by hand but the results may be marginal.

Clear TV

I use a cheap $14.00 Clear TV antenna. Depending on my location and deciding which window to stick it on, there were times I would get 21 stations, and some location only a few to none. No big deal, I wasn't there to watch TV but it is nice to see the news.
