If you are one who is consistent with washing and waxing with high quality products like are recommended in the maintenance table of contents then you most likely won't benefit from a cover. Also climate, wind and dust conditions factor into the cover decision.
I'm in a brutal climate in AZ, but I wax Spring and Fall which keeps the trailers in a pretty good state of shine. I don't consider a cover because we are in a very gritty dust and wind environment. If you cover the trailer here it will produce swirls in the gel coat that are not going to polish out.
The only thing I would consider in this environment is a garage or carport type shelter and will probably have Home Depot put one in on our property after we retire to it.
If I did decide to do the cover I would most likely go with the Cal Mark
The Calmark cover is really a great full time cover but they have a 6-8 week backlog now. My trailer usually lives in my barn but it is spending the winter in Fl. I need protection from the sun, it's the dry season so dust is an issue and I have a tree in the yard that has little tiny leaves on it that fall off during the winter and they get every where on the trailer. I wanted something light easy to put on and take off and was cool. I looked at the cheaper polyester covers but they had mixes reviews. I found on one of the Casita forums where several people were using a Tyvek White Van Cover.
Well I ordered one and installed it today. Like the reviews say it covers all but about 8" on each side at the bottom. To tie it off put Tyvek around a ping pong ball and attach nylon cord to it. I've worked with Tyvek before so I know it is durable. It covers the Casita from tongue to spare, I guess time will tell how it does. Note: It does not have a access door.
Can't comment on chaffing, Tyvek (House Wrap) is a tight woven slick material that is breathable so it is not waterproof. I only have two cords under the trailer since I still need to access inside of the trailer. Once you tighten it up is seems to stay taught since it seems not to stretch. Only been on the trailer less than 24 hrs. Already quite a few of those micro leaves ar on top of the cover.

(PS, if you even need a cover is a subject of debate, but since that was not your question it was not addressed)
so lets have that debate about whether a cover is needed??
Here we go, the great cover debate.

Thank you for the information about covers.
For the cost of two covers you can buy or build a Scamport (especially if it is just roof, with no sides).

Photos please.. how sung is the fit? Will it chafe the gel-coat in the wind?
