There is a trim ring/cover around the pedestal. It joins together at the flush valve. The newer commodes have a clear tabs that hold the ring together (easy removal). The older one have little locks that are easy to break. If you break the locks drill some small holes and tie strap it together. After you get the trim ring off the bowl is held on with 4 nuts and bolts. There is a rubber seal between the bowl pedestal and tank. The commode in the later Scamps is a Dometic Sealand 711 M28 a parts breakdown is available on line. The older Scamps had Dometic Sealand 911's they has been discontinued but some of the 711 parts are interchangeable. The bowl to tank seal is one item that works on both.
FWIW if it's not leaking don't mess with it. It is good to have a seal kit on hand because they are mostly a mail order item. I think a four bolt bowl seal kit is about $25
