Congratulations!... My Scamp will be ready the first week of May too. We don't have the hitch ready, Subaru told us that the cost is around $900.00 for labor and parts.
I installed the hitch and brake controller and lighting unit. Total was under $400 for parts and certainly several hours install. What subie do you have and is your scamp equipped with electric brakes.

I have a 2019 Subaru Outback 3.6. The Scamp is 13 ft, layout 1, no bathroom, no electric brakes.
We are starting and finishing this year with our 2018 crosstrek 6 spd manual trans. So we went with the electric Brakes. No rooftop AC but all the prep done incase we add it later. Time will tell if this is sufficient or bigger tow vehicle in order. it will be at or near max and we will leave lots of extra stuff at home. I dragged a single axle 5X8 UHAUL all over the place this winter moving kids and it easily was at 2,000 lb at times. The brakes will add some security and comfort.

I ordered the Scamp with AC, the awning, exterior GFI and vinyl floor. We are not so sure about the awning, but we will see. We want to be able to use the Scamp during summer and we need AC in Florida.
You may want to get a screen room instead of the awning. Being in FL. We use the clam screen room here in the northeast. Good luck.
We have a 10x10 easy up and We are starting to look at things like the clam and other options too. We did order the awning to keep the sun off the side and afford some shade and rain deflection even tho the awning is not tight to the roof. Might use a couple pool noodles to fill the gap.We will be pulling our soon to be 13 with a 2018 Crosstrek and are committed to keeping things as light as practical as we will at near max stated tow capacity so more things like a clam will have to be looked at carefully for weight and space. Maybe a heavier tow vehicle will be in the future but not this season.

You might want to look at the Gazelle 5 sided screen rm. Slightly smaller but packs up to 63" vs 73" and it weighs much less than the 6 sided model. You can compare the two tents on Amazon. You may save by buying direct from Gazelle they have a lot of promotions.
