For those who have taken their cat(s) camping or full-timing in a Scamp with no bathroom, where do you put the litter box?

I'm seriously considering a 13 standard with front bunks, but can't figure out the litter box question.  Maybe remove the door from the cabinet under the bunk/couch and put the box in that cubby?  I hate to give up the space under the rear bed/dinette because I plan to put the bed up and down and it seems awful to have a litter box at one's feet at the table!  I know camping in a small rig is all about compromises and creativity, but I don't want to be that "creative." And I can't see buying a 16-foot trailer just to make room for a litter box!!!
