Replacing Butyl Tape

Hello,

I have a crank out window (bathroom/shower) that has a very minor leak.  As far as I can tell it has no weep hole to clean so I am thinking of replacing the butyl tape.  Where are people buying their tape from?  Here is what I was thinking of using.

Butyl Tape

The Butyl tape here is normally what I use. width is most useful and usually get the Colormetrics or Hengs.

Any RV parts store will also carry this and can recommend what is needed.

looks like that one is only 1

looks like that one is only 1/8" think... do you double it up or is 1/8" thick enough?  Scamp sells 1/4" on their website but shipping is spendy.

Butyl

Depends on the job. Vents and window pulls usually will double up especially at the corners. Thru Hull inlets, Catv, etc usually one wrap. Rivets, just pull some off and wrap rivet with a cone of it before inserting and pulling rivet.
