I would like to replace the rear stabilizer on our 19 ' Scamp 15th wheel with a scissor the stabilizer. My ideas on names of stabilizers that would fit? Would prefer ones that would bolt on verses needing to be welded.
Thanks
Dennis

You can search for Scissor Jacks in Google or Amazon. You will want to know the height of your existing jacks to find the correct replacements. One note: if you choose to replace your jacks with taller jacks, theoretically, your Scamp will be more stable because the new jacks would not be extended out as far. You can also select the welded type or the bolt on type of installation.
As Always,
Happy Scamping !!!
I installed a set of bolt on scissor stabilizers an a Scamp 19. (unknown mfg.) They were bolted to the frame rail with plate and bolts. The jack screw bolt head extended past the ends of the bumper a couple of inches on each side, but it was not a real issue. I carried 4 6"x6" blocks for the landing gear and stock stabilizers. Buy not having to extend everything to the max it really made the trailer much more stable. I think Harbor Freight carries scissor stabilizers you might want to check them out.
