Thanks for the ideas. It actually is a gas/elec heater. It appears to have been forced to fit at the factory; after a couple screws were removed, part of the mounting flange cracked and one corner of the heater body sprang out 1/2 inch from the trailer body. At this point, I'm frustrated enough to just pull it and use the space for storage! Not sure why I can't find info/videos about it but if I understand you correctly, I need to cut the pex lines to remove it? There is a shutoff valve on the cold inlet.
