Noisy water

Running water in our 2014 Scamp 13, while hooked to city water, causes a loud "groaning".
Anyone else have similar problem?
Any suggestions as to cause/solutions.

Anyone ever get a reply to an email sent to Scamp?

Check valve?

Could it be coming from the city water hookup?

Happens wherever I'm hooked

Happens wherever I'm hooked up. Been present for the year we have owned the Scamp. Originally thought it was probably air in the line somewhere, and would eventually work it's way out. Really annoying, makes it difficult to enjoy all the fun of owning a Scamp.

Only moving part

The only moving part is the check valve at the city water hook up. Is it coming from that area? Please let us know what you find.

Groan!

A restriction could also cause a "groan" when the water is running. Check for sharp bends in tubing or hoses.

Another cause of groaning is a loose faucet washer. That is, the washer inside the faucet that acts as a seal when the faucet is shut off. The washer if loose can flutter as the water goes past it.
