Hi Gang!
First off let me thank Paul and Greg for helping me through some interesting electrical issues with my 1977 13' Scamp.
I have one more question as it relates to grounding...
If your Shore 30A power is properly grounded into your breaker box, does the breaker box then have to be grounded to the frame?
One RV site says that inverters or convertors have to be grounded to the frame...but, make no mention of grounding your breaker box.
Any suggestions are deeply appreciated. I'm almost there! Getting on the road for a dry run next week!
Best, Guy
Hey Folks:
Scamp informed me that my breaker box should indeed be grounded to the frame. I also did the same for my utterly worthless inverter. This old gal (1977) has had her electrical guts ripped out and peace-mealed back together again. But, I've managed to get my 120v system up and running, as well as, my 12v system. However, marrying the two will have to wait until this summer.
I suspect I will re-do the whole thing. Hmmmmmmm!
