Hi All,

Our names are Perry and Theresa Powell from Fort Worth, TX.

We have owned an 89 Vixen (fiberglass body) for two years.  After deciding that we would rather travel than do Vixen Fixin' we started looking for a trailer. We were on a business trip to SC and were working our way back to Texas. My wife was riding shotgun and looking at small trailers and discovered the Scamp site. While I had seen them before and knew of the fifth wheel, I had never been in one.  We located one just off an exit in Little Rock, at camping world, and spent the night so we could see it in the morning.

With no intent of purchasing, we began negotiations and the price went so low...well we wrote a check!

Now we will be selling the Vixen and will be returning to get the trailer probably next weekend.

Anythings I need to know as a rookie fifth wheeler, I would appreciate hearing here! I have learned that self discovery in camping is not always the best way to learn.
