I want to update my 2005 13 ft Scamp's converter since the fan quit on my old converter. Does Scamp still use electrical panel below dining table? My old converter company is no longer in business. Will I have to make mounting hole bigger.? Any ideas?

New Scamp Converters
My 2004 has American Enterprises converter. Your 2005 might have the same. I was able to find exact replacement in spring 2017, from Keith Gerrard in Plymouth, IN (574) 276-5657, keithsrvsurplus dot com. A new converter may not be an exact fit, which means some extra work would be required. I know that Scamp does not have the American any longer.
On edit: My old converter failed the same way, the fan stopped running and a red light was on.

If it is just a fan failure they are cheap and replaceable But one wont know until opened up and test for fan power.

Look at buying from https://www.bestconverter.com/
And get one that also does LiFePO4 batteries.. soon most every camper will use LiFePO4 batteries and once you have one you will never go back to wet cell technology (unless perhaps you are in freezing temps a lot).
In fact I need to replace my converter for the new battery and will have the old one to dispose of.
