Hi all. My name is Abraham and today I placed my order with Nick Swenson in Backus for a new 13 Deluxe with the front dinette. This will be my first rv, getting harder as I get older to get up off a tent floor. After a long period of researching just about every small camper made, I’m sure I made the right choice for my wants and needs. Late April is my approximate pick up. I live in Southern Maryland. I have never actually been inside a Scamp. If anyone knows of an RV show or rally where one might be available to view, I would appreciate the heads up. Thanks

Abraham welcome to the Scamp family. We ordered our new 13' Scamp in February of 2015. We have not regretted our decision to purchase our little Scamp. What I like about the Scamp is that you can modify it to meet your camping/traveling needs. It is very easy to tow and since it is so short you have a greater choice of sites in campgrounds. Since it is fiberglass it is very tough in dealing with nasty weather. We have been in hail storms that have caused damage to our vehicle but no damage to the Scamp. You will feel very secure in the Scamp in all kinds of weather conditions. For camping trips we have a Clam screen house that doubles as an extra room during nice weather. We were tent campers but as we aged we realized we needed to upgrade to a small trailer which was more comfortable and safer. Enjoy your new Scamp...you made a good choice.
