maxxfan green light of death

Our Maxxfan has been turning itself off and a green blinking light and alarm go off.  Anyone else experienced similar problem?

voltage?

Somewhere I read the MAXXFANS can be a bit sensitive to low and High voltage. Have you checked the battery and converter voltage with a good digital volt meter when shore power is plugged in.  .

Maxxfan

Call Maxxfan. Sometimes the circuit boards are the culprit and if under warranty they'll ship a new one out. They can probably resolve the issue if it isn't a board on the phone.

The green light comes on when

The green light comes on when the fan is in "auto" mode.
The Green Light  is up on the fan by the control pad in roof..
Meaning the fan will turn on and off based off temp on remote....
Check your set points, could be that... If temp is where selected then fan will not come on. the green light comes on when the fan is in "auto" mode.

Have the same problem,

Have the same problem, blinking green led == fault.  Power off for a few seconds will reset it.  New circuit board on order (warranty), but in the meantime I've found that if the speed is set to 50% or less on startup it works normally.

Tech support mentioned voltage, however the battery voltage is well within the normal range so I suspect it's actually an internal voltage drop or sensing issue with the circuit board.  My impression is that a large percentage of units have the problem, hence the circuit board back-order.
