im wondering if anybody imported a new scamp into Canada in 2019 as i heard there might be a new tariff charge , on top of the normal gst and licensing charge ( sales tax) and of course the import vehicle inspection charge around $200 .

I will answer my own question , there are no new tariffs, only thing that changed is the r.i.v. Import fee went from $200.00 to $310.00 , so the cost to import a trailer from usa to Canada is gst hst taxes and riv fee thats it .

Have you already imported yours. I will be picking mine up in the fall and have never importwed an RV or vehicle. Would appreciate any tips. I understand you have to notify US Customs you are exporting it as well and stop there before you enter Canada
hello Taos, what documents did you present at the US border before picking your scamp, coming from Canada? do you I have to inform the US borer 72 hrs prior to my crossing?Need some help ,thanks
