If you enjoy hiking, check

If you enjoy hiking, check out the Little Wild Horse Canyon, a nearby slot canyon.  Some photos here.

We were there last month.

We were there last month.  The Lil Critter stayed in Green River, UT at the Shady Acres RV Park.

During our day at Goblin I could not bring myself to walk those slot canyon trails.  The sky was really cloudy, threatening rain and I am chicken anyway. LOL  (Never go into caves either, figure I'll spend enough time underground later.)

Goblin sure is something to see anyway!!  That whole area from Richfield, UT to Green River, UT has amazing geology and history!  Of course, Moab, being just a few miles down the road, is like a cherry on a sundae for a Scamp-about.

Goblin will have to wait

Goblin Valley will have to wait.  My oldest broke her arm on mothers day and forced a change of plans.  I was however, able to do a quick fishing trip to the south fork of the Ogden river.  I stayed at Magpie campround, part of the national forest system, for a night.  The campground was nice with lots of shade and the host was friendly.  Only vault toilets and no potable water.  I stayed in spot 5 with a clear view of the river.
