A good funny story.
I was working on my older 13' so on sat I replace the trailer jack base with a removable wheel so I can push it around easier and switch to the flat base when I camp. That was an easy change.Well the next day I go to change the door handle from a butchered knob to a Lever Handle. This took a bit of time, so as I was working on it. I go inside and close the door to see how it works figuring I can work better from the inside for the adjustments etc. I close the door and it won't re-open, I can't get to the latch.
So I start to shake the door to see if I can force it open, as I do the new tongue jack wheel seemed to work pretty good as I started to roll down the drive way with me locked inside. Boy, did I have quite the dumb redneck look on my face. It rolled into the plants about 20' down. Now I was locked in with no tools so I called my wife on the cell phone to come home and hand me some tools through the window. So I waited for 20 minutes
I am too old for an escape hatch
Well note to self-
1. Make sure you block tires
2. Have tools on the interior
Great story glad it turned out so well. Blocking the tires does make sense

I keep a free Harbor Freight 6 way tool (they call it four way, but it is four screw drivers and two nut drivers) in the Scamp. ALL SCAMPS HAVE AN EMERGENCY EGRESS.Learn how to use it, the next time could be a fire or rollover. https://www.harborfreight.com/hand-tools/screwdrivers/4-in-1-screwdriver...
Oh, wouldn't your neighbors (or kids!) have loved to see the Scamp rolling along on its own, swearing at top volume!
